The wrapper on this new line replaces the Nicaraguan shade-grown corojo 99 rosado leaf found on the original Fonseca by My Father line. As the name suggests, the new line uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, while the binder and filler use Nicaraguan tobacco grown on the García family’s farms. Released at the 2024 PCA, this cigar creates a full bodied smoking experience with complex notes of cinnamon, cedar, leather, umami, pepper, spice, and sweetness.
