Chicken Cock - Island Rooster Rum Barrel Rye Whiskey

Producer Description: Inspired by a trip to the Caribbean, where roosters announce the coming day, they decided to finish 25 barrels of the Signature Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey in Caribbean rum casks. The result is a relaxing blend of spicy notes from the rye with candied molasses notes from the rum barrels. Sun and sand meets the Bluegrass state.

Color: A clear dark orange with thin legs.

Nose: Spicy notes with mellow sweet vanilla and rum, with tropical pineapple wafting from the bottle.

Taste: The whiskey is a delicious blend of complex flavors, including sweet guava and ginger, with a little funk on the outside of the tongue and a smooth coffee note finish.

Distilled/Aging Location: At least four years old. Finished for at least 6 months in Caribbean rum cask.
